As
I was on the Bullet train travelling from Tokyo to Sendai which is up South
of Japan.
It Occurred to me...
Do you know what?
That was my fifth time to Japan and it was the first time I saw things
differently.
Let
me set the picture for you. We are travelling around 350kl per hour on a
train and as I look out the window all can see are houses and high rises
jammed close together like sardines for miles and miles.
Occasionally you will see rice fields and every so often you may see a
golf arena with just enough room to hit the ball and land with one shot
surrounded by nets. The roads are so narrow that they must park their cars
on their land.
Did you know that if your own home does not have
enough land to park your car, you cannot buy a car in Japan?
The units are only 3 meters wide and 8-10 meters long and that has to fit
everything -bedroom, kitchen, laundry and lounge.
But what crossed my mind was this.... How we are so lucky to live in
Australia, when you compare what you get in Japan to what we get in
Australia its amazing.
And the property here Japan is not cheap for such a small block. Don't you
think Australia will eventually be the same in years to come? Look at Sydney
prices its already started.
So what is holding people back in Australia from Investing in their own home
land?
We have the best beaches in the world (Surfers Paradise, Bondi, Manly etc),
we have parks everywhere and if we work smart and hard we can purchase a big
home with the swimming pool and tennis court etc, live our dreams.
Over the years I've seen prices just keeping on increasing and increasing,
in the late 80's everyone was saying that the prices can't keep on going up.
Look at the same properties today, they have doubled and some have tripled
since then.
You don't realise this until you go overseas and see how really lucky we
are. We just abuse the system and don't work smart. I know this does not
represent everyone in Australia but I am talking about everyone in general.
Why do you think all the people that relocate in Australia from overseas do
so well? They see the potential here and go for it, then before you know it
they are buying larger homes, cars and investing heavily.
They see what potential Australia has to offer them and run with it. What's
my point in this email? Realise how lucky you and I are to live in this
beautiful country, "Australia", and take advantage of this opportunity by
using the tools and knowledge we have around us
to better ourselves.
"How long do you think it will be before Property Prices will just be too
high and you will be placed out of the market to purchase anything?".
So I say, don't waste your opportunities and take action now.
Looking forward to working with you.
